The clients desired a bar area for people to sit, but was also a separate area for their pool table. Space was limited due to traffic flow, and the client’s desire was to try to keep people from congregating in the main kitchen space. The original room was typical, with tall, drywalled ceiling and drywalled walls. The challenge was to create a coffered ceiling look in a room where the ceilings were already low.

Our remodeling contractors created a warm, inviting and family-centered home by removing the wall that separated the two areas and introducing more natural light by expanding the window over the kitchen sink. After taking the room down to the wall studs, we updated the entire infrastructure, updated all the finishes and increased the functional workspaces with more counter space.
